A glacier village in the Bernese Oberland

Grindelwald, a hospitable glacier village, lies well embedded in an alternating but yet genuine alpine landscape. The spectacular and world famous, ice-topped mountains - Wetterhorn, Eiger, Moench and Jungfrau - belong to Grindelwald's scenery.

Motorways lead from Basel, Geneva or Zurich via Bern to Spiez.
From Spiez onwards, good mainroads lead via Interlaken to Grindelwald.

Arriving in the village of Grindelwald, follow the main street and pay attention to the brown hotel signs.
The Hotel Grindelwalderhof is located next to the start station of the First gondola.
